Welcome to Engagetal Solutions. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Engagetal Solutions (OPC) Private Limited ("Engagetal," "we," "us," "our"), governing your access to and use of our website, platform, services, training programs, and any related offerings (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract to use the Services. If you're using the Services on behalf of a company or other organisation, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
When you create an account, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to keep it updated. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@engagetal.com if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
Engagetal connects companies with pre-vetted engineers. We do our best to present accurate information about candidates, but we don't guarantee any particular hiring outcome, retention period, or project result. Specific terms governing your hiring engagement — including pricing, payment, replacement guarantees, and termination — are set out in the separate service agreement you sign when you begin hiring through us.
Joining the Engagetal hiring pool is free. Clearing our vetting process does not guarantee a match, a role, or any particular outcome. If you're presented with a role and accept it, the employment relationship is directly between you and the hiring company (or an intermediary where applicable), and is governed by a separate contract. Engagetal receives a fee from the hiring company, not from you.
Our training programs (the Fellowship Program and the Summer Training Programs) are offered under separate enrollment agreements which set out the specific cost, payment terms, curriculum, expectations, deliverables, and refund or withdrawal policies. By enrolling, you agree to the terms of the relevant enrollment agreement in addition to these Terms. Successful completion of a program does not guarantee employment.
For the Fellowship Program specifically: if you choose the Income Share Agreement (ISA) payment option, you will sign a separate ISA setting out the specific terms — including the 10% share of pre-tax monthly income, the ₹10 LPA income threshold, the 24-month payment window, and the ₹4,00,000 maximum repayment cap. Nothing in these Terms overrides the ISA or the enrollment agreement.
Fees for the Services are set out in your separate agreement with us (hiring service agreement, enrollment agreement, or ISA, as applicable). All fees are exclusive of applicable taxes (including GST), which will be added where required. Unless expressly stated otherwise, payments are non-refundable.
You agree not to use the Services to:

Engagetal, its Services, and all related content (other than user-submitted content) are owned by Engagetal Solutions (OPC) Private Limited and protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Services for their intended purpose, subject to these Terms.
You retain ownership of content you submit to the Services (resumes, code samples, written responses), but you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, display, and process that content as needed to provide the Services — including sharing it with prospective hiring companies with your consent.
Candidate profiles, assessment scores, company hiring requirements, and similar non-public information shared through the platform are confidential. You agree not to disclose this information to third parties or use it for any purpose other than participating in the Services. This obligation survives the termination of these Terms.
The Services may link to or integrate with third-party websites, tools, or services (such as payment processors, video conferencing, or form providers). We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of any third-party service, and your use of them is at your own risk.
The Services are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Engagetal disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranty that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Engagetal's total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services shall not exceed the amounts you have paid to us in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or ₹50,000 — whichever is greater. In no event shall Engagetal be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, revenue, or data, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Engagetal, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claim or demand — including reasonable legal fees — arising out of your breach of these Terms, your violation of any law, or your infringement of any third-party right.
You may stop using the Services and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at our discretion, including if we believe you have violated these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, confidentiality, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law) will survive.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in New Delhi, India.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified to you by email or through the Services. Continued use of the Services after a change means you accept the revised Terms. If you don't agree with the changes, you should stop using the Services.
If any part of these Terms is held to be unenforceable, the rest will remain in effect. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later. You may not assign these Terms without our written consent; we may assign them freely in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
