Help us build the trust layer in engineering hiring.

Design and build the AI layer that powers our matching engine and our training programs. You'll work directly with LLMs, embeddings, retrieval systems, and agent frameworks, and you'll also be the person who explains what's actually practical and what's hype. This role sits close to product and far from slideware.

• Build production LLM applications: RAG pipelines, agent workflows, and evaluation harnesses that actually catch regressions.
• Own the AI-assisted curriculum for the Fellowship, from module content to the tooling Fellows build with.
• Partner with the engineering team to ship AI features into our hiring platform.
• Required: 4+ years building ML or AI systems, strong Python, and hands-on experience with LLMs (OpenAI, Anthropic, or open-source).
• Bonus: experience with evals, embeddings at scale, or teaching technical material.

Own the backend of the Engagetal platform, the APIs, data model, and infrastructure that power candidate vetting, company matching, and payments. You'll work across Node.js, TypeScript, Postgres, and whatever else makes sense for the problem. We like engineers who can choose tools well, not just know many of them.

• Build and operate core APIs powering our hiring platform and internal tools.
• Design the data model for candidate profiles, matches, and engagements.
• Set up observability, incident response, and a sensible deployment pipeline.
• Required: 4+ years building production web services, strong Node.js or Python, comfortable with SQL, and able to own a feature from design through on-call.
• Bonus: experience with payment systems, multi-tenant SaaS, or Next.js on the frontend.

Run the operational spine of the Fellowship and the community behind it. You'll coordinate cohort launches, manage Fellowship logistics end-to-end. Applications, mentor scheduling, ISA paperwork, placement week and keep our private community a place engineers actually want to be in. You don't need to code. You need to be organised, clear on priorities, and write well.

• Lead enrollment and onboarding for every Fellowship cohort, from application to placement week.
• Own the Engagetal community: programming, introductions, events, and moderation.
• Coordinate across instructors, students, companies, and the founding team.
• Required: 3+ years in program operations, community, or customer success, and a strong writing sample we can actually read.
• Bonus: past work with education, developer communities, or cohort-based programs.
